A friend of mine writes a lot about writing and this time he wrote about how important it is to take criticism as a writer.
This is true whether or not you are a writer.
Knowing we have been justified by Christ and his work helps us take criticism. When I have the hardest time listening to criticism, its because I am forgetting about the justifying work of Christ on my behalf.
Bill points out, in his article, that you can’t be an effective writer unless you take good criticism. Isn’t that true about life as well? Criticism helps us see our flaws and sins- so why do we resist it so? This is why justification is so important.
