In this month’s column for the Lake Wylie Pilot, I try to explain why Jesus received gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Read the column for yourself.

Exclusive to my blog I mention other interpretations I found and why I selected this answer as the best.

In my second column for the Lake Wylie Pilot I try and tackle the question, “Was Jesus ever scared?” I think this is a great question because it implicitly asks if it is okay for us to be scared. You can read this article or subscribe to the RSS Feed for all the “Kids Wanna Know” columns.

In my column for the Lake Wylie Pilot I take tough questions from children and attempt to answer them. The questions I tackle in this column are, “When did God and forever begin?” and “Why did God create the Devil?” I hope you find these answers helpful.

This article summarizes the observations of a group of 31 reporters who went to 31 different churches in the Seatle area one Sunday. Although many are self-avowed athiest, their reactions are very interesting.

Here’s the seventh article I wrote for Church Marketing Sucks. This article is a complete contradiciton to the last article- instead of arguing for enough room to make visitors feel welcome, this argues against having too much room. Will visitors ever be pleased?
